Residents and supporters at Victoria Towers came together in the spirit of remembrance and community on ANZAC Day, raising an incredible $1,600 for Gold Coast Legacy.
The event included a community breakfast, the sale of beautifully hand-knitted poppies, and a heartfelt fundraising effort led by dedicated volunteers and residents. Handmade bears, lovingly created and donated by supporters, were also sold to help raise funds for veterans’ families across the Gold Coast.
The event provided an opportunity for the community to come together, reflect on the service and sacrifice of Australian veterans, and support the families who continue to be impacted by that service.
Gold Coast Legacy sincerely thanks everyone involved for their generosity, time, and support. Community fundraising events like this play an important role in helping us continue to provide connection, advocacy, and ongoing support to veterans’ families.
We would also like to extend a special thank you to the volunteers and residents of Victoria Towers whose kindness and dedication helped make the event such a meaningful success.
